Hello, yall, my name is Magnolia, but, you can call me Maggie. I was in quite a vulnerable state when I first arrived here. It took me several hours to become comfortable with my new pack. But, now we play together, even though they boss me around sometimes. I take a little while to warm up to strangers. But, I am playful and affectionate with my people. My ears are soft and smooth as buttah, and I love when they are stroked. I hope you dont think Im too big to be a lap dog, because I love to cuddle. I am gentle when I play with children. However, I do not like when they force themselves on me. I walk well on leash without any special training tools. I am as bright as a southern sky and I know: Sit, Stay, Down, Come and Here. I learn things rather quickly . . . except for how to leave chickens alone. I do apologize, but I was bred to hunt fowl, afta all. Being part hound, I am also quite a talker. I will tell you when guests arrive, when I need to go out and do my business, when someone has taken my toy, or when I want to get on the couch with you. I have the run of the house, and am mostly housetrained (only one accident). Magnolia is a 3-year-old 50lb female Hound-mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
