I am a dog named Bug. Adorbs is my mug. With toys, I like to tug. My peeps I love to snug. While some call Pibbles thugs . . . I am a true LOVE BUG. Bug is a high-energy, lotsa-love, big goofy dog. He OOZES all of the best qualities in a dog: affectionate, joyful, eager to please, well-behaved, and most of all, puppy-like. Bug knows: sit, get-down, go-potty, and is getting better at, come. Bug is housetrained and will ask to go outside. He uses a harness and retractable leash while walking, rarely pulls, but when he does he is easily reminded. He is working hard at not jumping up on his peoplehe gets SO excited and just wants to get as close to them as possible. As long as Bug has his toys and a marrow-bone to occupy him, he will leave your things alone. He loves tug-o-war, fetch and his squeaky-ball. Bug lives with other big dogs and plays well with them. He has not been tested with small dogs or cats. Bug is vocal when asking to go out and when initiating play with his people. He does not need to be crated, but is gated in a bedroom (with his toys and bones) when left alone. Bug is looking for a person or a family who can match his energy, enthusiasm and love of life. They should be a strong pack leader and provide patient caring and consistent guidance. He would do best in a home with a big dog that likes to play as much as he does. Bug also has some experience with children, although he has not lived with them, and proved to just as loving and goofy as he is with adults. Due to his size and energy, we recommend a home with older dog-savvy children. Bug is a 2year-old 60lb male Pibble-mix. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
