Meet Cyril. Cyril blended in with his foster pack with ease, getting along with the dogs and cats, and not even minding the cows and the pigs, after a brief announcement bark. Cyril seems to know all basic commands, so his person is just working on fine-tuning. Cyril seems to be a one-person dog. He strongly bonded with his foster dad within 2-3 days, and has been his constant shadow and companion, since. Cyril is protective of his favorite person when on his lap, otherwise he is friendly and outgoing. We would suggest keeping him on the ground when interacting with other people to avoid any issues. And, as with any dog, it is recommended to train visitors and children to properly meet Cyril by ignoring him until he approaches them. Cyril enjoys rides in the truck and on the ATV or following his dad and his foster dog sibling, Bert, around the farm during chores. Cyril uses a long training leash while his foster dad works to prevent him from marking in the house. Cyril is crate-trained, but will carry-on for a minute before resigning to it at bedtime. Cyril is affectionate and well-behaved. He can also be a little skittish and protective at times. But, Cyril is always eager to please. Cyril is a 20lb 2 year-old male, Terrier mix. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
