My name is Tigger. Thats, T-I-double-Ga-er. I am eager to please and I know: Sit and Stay and I am learning, Down. I am playful and get along well with all of my foster-siblings: 2 female labs (6 & 7 years old) and a male border-terrier mix (15 months). But, I show dominance with dominant male dogs, so I should live with submissive males or females. I am not nippy or possessive around food or toys. I am not interested in squirrels (I know, go figure!) I walk well on-leash and respond to corrections (such as getting excited at a passing dog). I really, really, really love off-leash hikes! I have been hiking with up to 7 other dogs at a time, and I listen to my human pack-leader and stay with the pack. I enjoy swimming and running as well. I would be a good companion for an active person or couple. I bark and am a little anxious when my people leave the house. So, I would not be a good fit for someone who lives in an apartment and is away, a lot. I chewed on a door, so now I am being crate-trained. I am also housetrained. Through continued work and training, I will grow even moreamazing! My foster mom wants to find me an adopter who will continue enforcing rules and boundaries, because if I dont have a leader, I will become the leader. I may be big and look intimidating, but I am affectionate, loyal and lovingand I listen and respond well to commands. Oh, I wasnt going to mention it, because looks are not important, but I have been told that I am a handsome hulky hunk . . . T-I-double-Ga-errrrrrrrrrr. Tigger is a 2year-old male Pibble. He is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
